1] Record Keeping Specialist // Dominica

Job Description: The Record Keeping Specialist will remotely monitor and optimize recording and reporting practices at Princess Margaret Hospital Blood Bank Laboratory in Dominica. This individual will work directly with our Dominican team after orientation. Position is stateside with possible, but unlikely, travel to Dominica. Requirements: At least ten years of experience managing records in a lab setting. Ability to commit up to 50 hours over the course of one year.

2] Mobile Collections Specialist // Tbilisi, Georgia

Job Description: The Mobile Collections Specialist will develop a mobile blood banking curriculum for Jo Ann Medical Center in Tbilisi, Georgia under the liaison of the President and Program Assistant. Learn more about Jo Ann Medical Center and Global Healing's mission in Georgia here.

Requirements: At least ten years of experience managing mobile blood collection operations. Ability to travel internationally for up to 14 days biannually, plus curriculum, trip preparation and other time commitments. 2-3 year commitment.

3] Donor Recruitment Specialist // Tbilisi, Georgia

Job Description: The Donor Recruitment Specialist will develop a donor recruitment curriculum for Jo Ann Medical Center in Tbilisi, Georgia under the liaison of the President and Program Assistant. Learn more about Jo Ann Medical Center and Global Healing's mission in Georgia here.

Requirements: At least ten years of experience managing donor recruitment operations. Ability to travel internationally for up to 14 days biannually, plus curriculum, trip preparation and other time commitments. 2-3 year commitment.

4] Pediatric Attendings & PL-3 Residents // Roatan, Honduras

Job Description: The clinic is staffed by a board-certified/eligible pediatrician, a third year pediatric resident, a local physician, and an intern who is usually a college student. The Clinic sees up to 35 patients a day. In addition, to seeing patients in the Clinic, attendings & residents examine newborns, participate in Ward rounds with local physicians and provide health maintenance to the children in a Day Care. Residents also participate in organizing and presenting a weekly case-based conference for all the doctors in the Hospital.

Requirements: At least two years of Pediatric residency training. Basic communication skills in Spanish. Minimum rotation of one month.

5] Student Interns // Roatan, Honduras

Job Description: The clinic is staffed by a board-certified/eligible pediatrician, a third year pediatric resident, a local physician, and an intern who is usually a college student. 6] Biomedical Engineer // Global

Job Description: Global Healing is continuously searching for biomedical engineers for our international programs. Nearly every project site receives medical equipment that must be properly maintained and service. Global Healing recognizes the need to responsibly address maintenance of donated equipment. To address this, we bring biomedical engineers on our trips to work with the local maintenance staff in training and education. During team trips, engineers are responsible for working with local maintenance staff to give hands-on training on specific items through an interpreter as necessary. More formal education in the form of bloackboard lectures or textbook based learning may be necessary, depending on the locale.

Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated expertise in electrical or biomedical engineering, including experience teaching. Russian speakers highly desired as many of our programs are based in Eastern Europe. Strong group skills are necessary as the engineer will need to interact with many individuals, many outside of his/her own culture.
