The Gyumri Regional Blood Bank
In order to provide more services in the Caucasus, Global Healing has replicated its successful Tbilisi blood bank model in Gyumri, Armenia. The blood bank was renovated and Soviet era Standard Operating Procedures were replaced with modern, internationally recognized practices. Volunteers from the United States, England, and Georgia worked together to renovate a physical structure, outfit it with modern equipment and train the local personnel to use, maintain and service the equipment. 

Yerevan Hematology Center
Helmer Inc provided new storage equipment to the EO Yeolyan Hematology Center in Yerevan, Armenia. Additionally, Global Healing is fundraising to renovate pediatric inpatient rooms at the hematology treatment center. The Hematology Center is also seeking key pieces of equipment.

Public Outreach
Global Healing created a Public Service Announcement for the Gyumri Regional Blood Bank to increase voluntary blood donations. The video has been aired on Armenia public television several times since it was created.
